With our film completed we showed it to the class and our lecturers to receive feedback. We recorded our audio for some Sue over Skype whilst Corin was done in person causing the audio to not match up. when we were shooting I had not left enough time for each take causing the film to have a few pacing issues. This is coupled with the fact that Corin is a much faster talker then sue leading the film to go from a little too fast to a little too slow very quickly in a distracting way. My visuals were over all fine though there were some spotty bits colour grade however they were not too noticeable.
Our sound track is overbearing and plays only over Corin due to it being his music but this is very distracting and it would have worked better had the song been turned down and played over both interviewees. The biggest issue with our two interviews is that we were so involve with sue as a subject we did not focus enough Corin and we allowed him to get left behind. We don't give him as much time, we don't see any photo of him and we don't learn about his family all of which we do for sue. we need to go back and edit a few things to make sure we are giving each a fair representation and not prioritising one over the other. The film might not be very good at explaining what synesthesia is to a newbie and thats something we really need to work on as without first explaining that clearly a lot of the film becomes muddled and confusing. all of this is stuff we plan on going back and fixing as soon as possible to polish off our film. The overall product was still very good however and showed a lot of work and passion. I like our film but can't wait to give it those few extra tweaks that will make it great
