13th/03 meeting

Updated: May 6, 2019

In the meeting we discussed every aspect of production. I drew out a large schedule of dates we would be filming, at what location and how long we had. I played out to everyone what we need to do and made sure everyone was on track. I had booked out equipment by this point so some time was spent explaining what was and was not manageable, such as lapel mics and certain lenses. The cinematographer was fine as long as I acquired the Nikon Prime lenses that art bookable. Our director and Writer explained what we had discussed with our lecturer to this point. That being new things to add to the script such as expanding on previous ideas of the world being against our character and making it seem more like a distortion cult and less like something out of the ordinary. This included all black t-shirts and the idea of everyone being ranked with a number in the dance scene.

A few other ideas for the next draft of the script were tossed around and sent to the writer. At the end of the meeting people were pretty happy and went away with a clearer understanding of the tone and intent of the film as well as what we could achieve for each day.
